You didn't think that we were going to release a Faith record and not release a Void LP, did you?
Void - Live 1982 is a monster record, but after we sent it to press we discovered that this Wilson Center recording is actually from 1983! The A-side is packed with hardcore classics like Ignorant People and Who Are You? , while the b-side and mixes hardcore gems like Time To Die and Organized Sports with newer, metal-tinged tracks like Bloodlust that would lay the groundwork for a whole new genre.
Professionally recorded by Tom Lyle from Government Issue, with photos by Jim Saah and art from longtime Dischord designer Jason Farrell, Void - Live 1982 is an amazing collection from one of DC's most influential bands.
Pressed on clear vinyl for retail and in stores March 6th, we also have a limited pressing of just 400 copies on glow in the dark green vinyl that comes with a 40 page Void zine. The glow in the dark green vinyl with the zine is only available direct from Outer Battery, and for those of you in Europe/The UK we have a limited number of copies available from our office in Berlin so that you don't have to worry about those pesky import fees. For you Void super fans we have a limited edition of just 10 test pressings with a unique cover.
This LP is dedicated to our brothers who are no longer here with us: Sean Finnegan from Void, Dave Sweetapple from Outer Battery, and Rich Jacobs, who was working on the Void zine right up until the time he passed. We now have a version of the clear vinyl that also comes with the zine!
We can't wait for you to hear the full recording on vinyl, and to tide you over check out this explosive version of Who are You?
WE ARE NOW SOLD OUT OF THE LIMITED EDITION LP w/ THE ZINE - WE DO STILL HAVE COPIES OF THE CLEAR VINYL AVAILABLE - ONCE THIS FIRST PRESSING SELLS OUT WE PLAN ON CHANGING THE CREDITS TO REFLECT THAT THE RECORDING IS ACTUALLY FROM 1983 - SORRY FOR THE MIX UP BUT HEY, IT'S STILL A KILLER VOID LP!
