The winter of 1990/91: heady times for Swervedriver. The band is freshly signed to Creation Records and are holed up inside Playground Studios in London, recording the demos for what will be the Raise LP on a Tascam Portastudio. The audio quality is not pristine, you may hear a bum note or a dropped beat here and there, you will definitely hear the hiss of amplifiers and the buzz of FX pedals, but most importantly you will hear the songs as they first emerged and as the band originally intended. In stores on October 23rd, the LP is pressed on silver vinyl and a limited edition of just 400 copies on red vinyl that comes with a bonus film strip. We also have a CD version and a limited-edition cassette that won't be in stores. For the super fan we have 10 test pressings with a unique cover, and as always we copies of the red vinyl available from our office in Berlin for EU fans that don't want to pay those pesky import fees. All orders will also come with a digital download on release day.
